August 13 – Glacier Bay

Regrouping day!

I did trial run for tomorrow. I went over to lodge to see how busy it was at breakfast. Lodge was buzzing. Dining room was packed. We’ll be in the mix tomorrow.

Tomorrow we are doing the all day cruise of Glacier Bay. Breakfast starts at 6:00, boat boards at 6:50, boat departs st 7:15.

If we want to eat before getting on the boat we need to be ready to roll, at the lodge by 6:00, and eating.

Ponds were created when glaciers receded

Two nice hikes today, will do both again,

Tonight, Ranger talk about orcas and humpback whales, and dinner.

Tomorrow our all day cruise into Glacier Bay with the Park Service. Hoping to see seals, whales, puffins and glaciers.
