Dublin – Book of Kells and The Long Room

Only 7.5 miles today. After breakfast, we headed over to Trinity College, we had 10:30 am tickets to see the Book of Kells, a 1,200 year old manuscript, and the Long Room, the Old Library from 1732 stacked to the ceiling with 200,000 books.

Off to the Silk Road Cafe for well earned Latte and Tea
And a falafel sandwich for lunch. Great place.

We rode the Luas tram to Heuston Train Station. We’re catching the train to Galway tomorrow and wanted to check out the route, the station., and how to collect our tickets. No surprises tomorrow.

Black bean burgers hold the bun for dinner.

Tomorrow, train to Galway, our home base for 4 nights and sites to see. Have to pack tonight.
