Train left Seattle King Station at 8:30

Nice ride, arrived Bellingham at 10:30, coffee shop at the station

Enjoyed our beverages then we walked a block to the ferry terminal, grabbed some lunch and boarded ferry at 2:00.

Then there are the travelers pitching tents on the deck, lots of duck tape to securely fasten tent to the deck

We’re amongst a friendly, casual group of travelers.

Oops Captain just made an announcement- leaving late, 5:00 pm departure is toast.

New announcement making a short trip into the bay to make sure problem has been fixed, then returning to port before we really head out. Fingers crossed.

I was able to cancel hotel in Juneau. Instead of arriving at 2:30 pm on the 11th our new ETA is 4:15 am in the 12th. Hoping we arrive in time to catch the 7:00 am ferry out of Juneau.
