September 4 – Dent to Howgill

It was sunny and hot today.

Breakfast – juice, fruit, yogurt and cereal bar.
No porridge on the menu, scrambled egg and dark bread
Mare’s mushroom omelet
Dining room – cupboards original to the building circa 1630
Amazing fireplace in our room-oldest fireplace in the village
Back on the trail, crossing fields
Kissing gate
Scenery is changing as we leave the Dales and enter the Lakes district
We only met 3 people on the trail today
Coming into Sedberg
Tea, latte and scone time
Happy time!
I was hot and sweaty today
Walked around town and came back for late lunch
Final bit of walking, road leading to our B&B
Chickens welcoming us
Ash Hining Farm B&B
View from patio
No dinner tonight, we had a late lunch; and we had tea and walnut bread upon arrival
