August 30, Ilkley to Bolton Abby

Great weather for walking. Talked with lots ramblers (locals) out on the trail. We walked 8 miles. Started out at 10:00, after a leisurely breakfast.

Started with assorted fresh fruit.

About one mile from B and B to start of the trail., Today we followed the river.

Stairs
Through pastures
Avoiding cow pies
And cows
A highlight was the Farfield Quaker Meeting House established in 1689. Selected as one of the top 10 places in the Faith and Belief category of “A history of England in 100 places”
