Sunday, 20 August 2023 (leaving 26 August 2023) Narrowing down the must haves – Water Proofs (rain jacket and rain pants), gators, hiking poles, water bottles, first aid kit, one spare pair hiking pants, 2 extra hiking shirts, 1 base layer (top and bottoms), 1 zip base layer top, spare pair of hiking boots, sandals for evening wear, 4 pairs socks and 3 pairs liner socks and underwear, sun hat and sun gloves, warm hat and light weight gloves. Our backpacks for this trip – Osprey Sirrus 24 liter packs – big enough to hold everything we need while out walking 6-8 hours everyday. Luggage – 20 inch carryon bags.
