Flying from Denver to Manchester, UK for some long-distance walking. This trip, we’re walking the Dales Way, 81 miles long, starting in Ilkley and ending in Bowness-on-Windermere. Our walk starts just outside the southern boundary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, takes us into the park for a few days, and we continue onward to finish in the Lake District National Park. We should blend in quite nicely with the walkers we come across, according to Waypoint51.com, “the most fashionable hair color on the Dales Way amongst both sexes is what can most kindly be described as a distinguished silvery-grey.”
