Ballyferriter to Cuas

Beautiful 5.5 hour, 10 mile walk today. Pictures don’t do it justice. Started on the beach and finished in Cuas. Great weather – a short rain early and then mostly sunny skies.

To the beach
Along the cliffs
Flowers along the trail
Heading to our second section of beach
Trail along the coast
The Three Sisters
Bridges
Two of the Three Sisters in the background
The trail, flowers on the right and the Atlantic on the left
Still the Three Sisters in the distance
Another style to climb
Sheep ahead
Watch where you step
The end of the day at a pub – latte and tea
Our B and B treated us with coffee, tea and a sweet treat

Tomorrow, our walk takes us away from the ocean. Again, we have the GPS tracking on phone and written trail notes to guide us.

We’ve met other people doing the same walk. They started in a different city than us. A group of 4 we have seen the last 2-3 days and they are on our same schedule , actually staying in same places as us. It’s a popular walking trail in ireland
