Tralee to Camp

Whew! Long day, the dogs (feet) are tired. Marilyn’s iPhone says 38,933 steps, 12.7 miles. Trail was rocky, ups and downs, great views, stream crossings, boggy in spots, lots of locals taking day hikes, and we met a brother and sister from Switzerland doing the hike we are. We met lots of nice folks on the trail,

Started off with chocolate croissants
Fresh fruit and oatmeal
Started out easy enough
Rocky trail
Perfect hiking weather- sunny and cool
Up and down hills
Stream crossing
Another stream
Bog log crossings
Short lunch break
Styles crossing over fences, one of many
Stepping stone river crossing
Arrived at Sea View Lodge B and B
Pre dinner beverage
Fish and Chips locally caught pollock
Vegan burger

The sister and brother from Switzerland joined us for dinner. There’re staying at different B and B. We may see then again tomorrow or the next day.

Tomorrow another long day, 12 miler. Should be easier terrain but rain is in the forecast. Rain gear all day.
