Bus from Galway to Rossaveal and then the ferry to Inishmore. The sea was rolling, more than a light to moderate chop.
Once on the Island we got on a Hop On Hop Off tour van, 15-20 passengers. Took us around the island and stopped at the sites.
First stop was Dun Aengus. The stone fortress, 2000 years old, on a cliff edge 200 metres above the Atlantic.

Next stop the Seven Churches. Ruined chapels dating back 8th to 11rh century.

The sea was really rolling on the trip back.
Tomorrow day trip to Cliffs of Moher and the Burren.
Rugged coastline. And is that the pony express?
