We started off with breakfast at our coffee shop – eggs Benedict, and a turkey and cheese sandwich. Looked at the display case but didn’t get anything from there.

Overcast skies turned into a sunny day.

We headed across town

A day for surfing and the beach

While walking about, we located the yellow arrows marking the trail out of San Sebastián for our long walk – a happy moment.

We rode the funicular up the hill to take in the views

Walked back along the promenade, stopping for lunch, pintxos. Stopped and purchased our credencial for our walk on the Northern Camino. Also got our first stamp! Who knows, maybe we’ll continue someday to Santiago.

Then we headed to our room for a short time out. Headed back out at 7:30 for an evening snack, more pintxos.

Tomorrow we’ll walk up the other hill on the coast for more views and then laundry!
