Sunny day, people were out and about. Plaza Mayor and Puerta Del Sol were packed.

Prado opened   at 10, we got in line about 9:15, we were in by 10:05. Stopped at Starbucks before getting in line.

We managed to stay at the Prado until 5:30 PM. Took a lunch break at the Museum Cafe,  then back at it.

Raphael, Goya, Titian, Velázquez (his Las Meninas painting is one of our faves), more Velasquez, El Greco, Rubens, more Goya, Albrecht Dürer’s self-portrait , and many more.

After the Prado we walked over to Puerto del Sol and grabbed an inexpensive bite to eat, empanadas
