Today we had our first cold breakfast – cereals, croissants, cheeses, fruit salad, yoghurt, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, and tea/coffee.

Our walk from Newtown to Carlisle took us through fields and down country roads. A reminder of yesterday’s wind

Arrived in Carlisle around 3:00, located our B&B, The Langleigh Guesthouse. Great old house. We’re staying here for 2 nights.

Tonight, a walk around Carlisle and to locate the bus station, we are taking the bus on Sunday to Keswick, in the Lakes District.

Tomorrow, we are spending the day in Carlisle. Checking out the castle and Cotswolds sporting goods store.
