Belford to Seahouses

The Farmhouse Guesthouse was terrific. Great location, hosts and breakfast. Started with fresh fruit salad, yogurt and muesli.

The kissing stiles are getting smaller or could be us after an English Breakfast.

The dreaded stinging nettles. We did stop at the village Chemist yesterday and picked up some anti itch cream. It did the trick.

The path took us past the Spindlestone Ducket, dates from 18th century.

Across fields

And more sheep

Through a golf course.

We followed the blue markers

Rewarded with views of the North Sea and Lindisfarne Castle off in the distance.

Bamburgh Castle – King Oswald’s fortress.

Mare vs the Mare. In the field we had to cross and right by the exit gate, a horse came after Mare.

Mare made through the gate and best friends.

The next field we crossed was rapeseed, canola oil.

Arrived Seahouses at 3:30 PM, and located our B &B – Ugiebrae House – nice place, garden in the back.

Tomorrow is a day off! Staying 2 nights at the Ugiebrae House in Seahouses.
