After breakfast, porridge, egg, bacon, toast, and tea/coffee, we checked out and headed to the local laundry.
A bank holiday today so the laundry opened at 10. We were out of there by 11, washed and dried. Washer cost £7 and dryer was £2 for twenty minutes. Pricey but worth it.
Put the clean clothes into the luggage and rolled over to the grocer and bought trail mix and salads for lunch. Then we walked to the Underground Station and caught the Tube to King’s Cross Train Station.
Not wanting to starve, we bought tuna sandwiches at Pret a Manger to eat on the 3.5 hour train ride to Berwick Upon Tweed.
Train was packed, glad we had reserved seats, next time we will spring for 1st class tickets, cost isn’t that much more.
Lunch on the train.

Took taxi from Berwick to our B & B – Brockmill Farmhouse, the fog was in

Definitely in the country

Tomorrow, we’ll start walking from the B& B and do an out and back walk on the Coastal Path.
